Generally I like my porn without much story, or the simplest sexiest fantasy plot - nailing
the cute nextdoor neighbor or you sexy secretary or something - but "Misty Beethoven" tries
to be a movie, instead of a porn, and it doesn't really work.

Veronica Hart's "Misty Beethoven" is the remake of the original, and hopefully only, porn musical.
Main character, Darren Dick, is a rich playboy who decides to turn a common tramp into a sex goddess.

The best scene is near the beginning when there is a singing dick, who is encouraged to sing
by clapping naked maids and such, and the dick sings "You're the proud owner, of a big boner….." etc.

After that Darren and his equally rich woman friend go out and find a girl to make into a sex goddess.
They find a girl - Sunset Thomas - in a sex club, name her Misty Beethoven, teach her to suck cock,
have sex with girls and do everything pornstar style. It's kind of funny, but the singing and watching
bands play is annoying, there are some decent sex scenes - the door girl in the sex club is getting
fucked in the ass as she takes people money and stamps their hands and the Asia Carrera scene is
a hot scene - just kind of stuck in the movie as a scene that could stand alone.

The scenes I really like the most were with Sunset Thomas and Michelle Lay having sex - I think
there were scenes where they acted but I didn't pay attention. The acting was atrocious, also
the songs and singing were pretty atrocious and annoying; leave that shit out of my porn please.

The songs - other than the dick song - actually try to be serious and the acting tries to be good,
but it's not. The movie just takes itself too seriously - there is even behind the scenes footage
and cast interviews and such - and it's needs to be more fun and be a goofy porn with singing.
Big Westside Story, naked, type scenes would be funny and great.
This movie was not.

It does have a "Sex on Demand" setting on the CD though, where you watch only the sex scenes - labeled by doggy and blow job and straddle and eat pussy etc. - and that was the saving grace of this DVD.
